Meet the stars of Two Dots
Emily
The only child of two great explorers, Emily was mostly raised by her Uncle Jack in a quiet town. Growing up, she and her best friend Andria loved to pretend they were on their own expeditions, based on the postcards Emily’s parents would send her from their travels.
But one day, Emily realized she was tired of living vicariously through her parents’ adventures. She told Uncle Jack, who let her in on a little secret: He used to be an explorer, too! And he was just as bored of small-town life as Emily was. Together, they agreed to track down Emily’s parents and join their explorations!
Jack and Emily strapped on Jack’s old adventuring gear and set out on a great journey across glaciers, lava fields, outer space, and the ocean floor. They haven’t caught up to Emily’s parents yet, but they’re having a fine time getting there! Where else will their travels take them? It’s up to you to guide their way!
Uncle Jack
A gruff but kindly old fellow, Uncle Jack is the kind of Dot who knows a little but about a lot and isn’t shy to use that knowledge. After decades of wandering the Earth, Jack settled down in his tiny hometown to help his former adventuring partners raise their daughter Emily.
But wanderlust was part of Jack and Emily’s blood, and once she grew old enough to make her own choices, Emily told Jack that she was ready to do a little adventuring of her own. Jack couldn’t agree fast enough, and soon they were on their way!
Jack is overjoyed to be on the road again, especially in the company of someone as upbeat and determined as Emily, and he’s especially excited to see new worlds he’s never explored before!
Andria
Andria and Emily have been best friends for as long as either of them can remember. Growing up, Andria was the more cautious and cerebral complement to Emily’s headstrong and impulsive nature, making them an unstoppable team of besties. There was nothing they couldn’t do together!
After Emily left on her grand adventure, she sent updates to Andria in the form of postcards, just like her own parents had done. But even Andria’s careful nature didn’t stop her from feeling envious of Emily’s adventures, so eventually she decided to undergo explorer training in the hopes of eventually joining Emily and Uncle Jack.

Marlene the Treasure Wyrm
Deep in Tempting Trove is the lair of Marlene, a haughty treasure-hoarding dragon who won’t give up her Gold to any but the most worthy explorers! Her interests include swimming in gold and demanding high randoms for captured princesses. She also loves partying with the Yetis, but that did lead to her setting the first Fire Dots aflame—she claims they asked for it, but we can’t confirm that.

Nigel the Yeti
Nigel is the second friend Jack and Emily made on their Saga journey. He’s cool, even for a Yeti: No one can rock a pair of sunglasses like he does! Even Marlene finds it difficult to resist Nigel’s freewheeling ways. If only he could find the Sasquatch soulmate of his dreams and settle down, he’d be truly fulfilled…but until that day comes, he’ll keep rocking out.
When he’s not at a rager or crushing icicles against his forehead, Nigel can be found chilling on the slopes of the Ice Mountain.
Magnus, King of the Trolls
In the Gelid Grotto, Emily and Uncle Jack were granted an audience with the Troll King, Magnus. It was early in their adventure, and neither had ever been presented to royalty before, so they were incredibly nervous. Luckily, Emily and Jack had nothing to worry about, because all Magnus wanted to do was sit in an ice bath and listen to tales of their adventures. Being the King means you almost never get a vacation, after all!
Ever since that meeting, Emily makes sure she sends postcards to Magnus as well as Andria, so he has new stories to read all the time. You can drop in on him in the Gelid Grotto and tell him a few of your own!
Noodles the Squid
You may recognize Noodles from his appearance in Under the Sea…but did you know that this sassy cephalopod is also a LEGENDARY ice-skater? If not, you really should invite the old boy out to the rink sometime—there’s nothing quite like the sight of a giant squid nailing a perfect triple axel.
As high as Noodles might jump with his skates on, he’ll never leap high enough to reach outer space, and that’s his dream. It’d be pretty hard to get a squid to outer space…but we’ve heard rumors of whales up there, so maybe it’s not as impossible as it sounds! Maybe Andria has an idea—she’s always good at figuring this stuff out…
Louie the Orangutan
Some describe Louie as an alpha, but he’s just a natural leader. He heads up a raucous gang of apes and monkeys deep in the middle of the forest, where they’ve built a village around (and in) some of the oldest trees.
This big boy just wants one thing in life: fruit, and lots of it. But he won’t accept just any fruit! Try giving Louie a tomato, and you’ll probably end up covered in ketchup, because only sweet snacks count. Uncle Jack agrees with this philosophy, so he occasionally send Louie crates of fruit from around the universe, hoping to help him find the world’s most mouthwatering treats.
Freddy of Fxptlfk
Freddy wants to be famous more than anything. He dreams of winning a Nobel Prize, summiting Mount Everest, winning the lottery, and being officially declared the best pecan pie baker of all time! Unfortunately, he is just a monster in a haunted house, forever cursed to scare anyone who walks in....
…but that doesn’t mean fame is forever out of reach! When Freddy was chasing Uncle Jack and Emily through the Cursed Corridor, they dropped a selfie stick. Freddy snatched it up and began posing immediately. In fact, he was so enchanted with his own image that he let Emily and Uncle Jack escape!
Now that Freddie’s trying to make it as the first monster influencer (monfluencer?), you might see him posing in a few different places, trying to find that perfect monstrous angle.
Eerie the Alien
Bored of her backwater home planet, Eerie always dreamed of flying among the stars, but she didn’t know how to get started. Inspired by the faint legends of young Emily, and with nothing but a how-to rocketry book and a homemade smelter, she was on her way to space in just a few years! She even had time to meet up with Emily and Uncle Jack on their travels, although she was rushing to join the never-ending birthday party happening in Saturn’s rings. (Oh, you didn’t know about that? No worries, everyone’s invited!)
Eerie usually travels on her own, but she drops in on Emily and Uncle Jack frequently to see what they’re up to.
